Internship Animal Care FBA
Villa Bunterhund in Schwarzenberg offers professional day and holiday care for dogs in group housing. We also run a dog boutique with a wide range of food and accessories.
Effective September 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are offering an unpaid FBA internship (40-100%) in animal care for graduates of the theoretical part of the FBA animal caretaker training. The internship days completed with us will be credited towards the 360 required hours.
This is what awaits you in your new daily routine:
- Care & supervision of dog guests
- Cleaning and disinfection of dog and work areas
- Administrative tasks
- Dog drop-offs and pick-ups
For this exciting and varied role, you bring the following qualifications:
- Successfully completed theoretical part of FBA animal caretaker training
- IT skills (Petlinx, Navision, online shop management)
- Physical fitness: Carrying 15kg feed bags or walking a 40kg dog on a leash is no problem for you
- Willingness to work irregular hours (evening shifts, half days, and weekends)
- Positive and communicative demeanor, reliability, and a strong sense of duty
- Impeccable criminal record and debt collection register extract
