General terms and conditions of business

GENERAL

We undertake to care for and look after your animal to the fullest extent, and to call a vet in case of injury or illness. The costs for veterinary services, including animal transport and incidental expenses, shall be borne by the owner.

We undertake to perform the tasks entrusted to us to the best of our knowledge and belief, and with due diligence and competence. However, this is only possible if the client informs and instructs us accordingly about everything necessary (e.g., special food, dangers, allergies, illnesses, behavioral disorders, etc.).

Vaccinations

Your dog must be vaccinated annually against distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis,
parvovirus, and kennel cough. The vaccinations must be administered
at least 8 days prior to the stay at the dog daycare.
The vaccination certificate must be presented to the caregivers upon request.

Cancellations

Agreed-upon daycare services must be cancelled at least 48 hours before the stay. For cancellations on Mondays, please notify us by Friday evening (6:30 PM) beforehand, as we are difficult to reach on weekends. In case of late or short-notice cancellations – even for health reasons – the full daily rate, including booked additional services, will be charged.

Agreed-upon holiday and overnight stays must be cancelled by phone or email at least four weeks in advance. In case of late cancellations, incomplete or uncommenced stays, the entire price will be charged. Holidays booked after the four-week cancellation period are considered non-cancellable and will be charged in full.

Photo and video material

During the stay in our daycare center, photos and videos of the dogs in our care may be taken. These recordings show everyday situations from Villa Bunterhund and can be used for documentary or advertising purposes. They may be published, for example, on our website, in social networks (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) or as part of advertising materials.

By booking a stay at our daycare center, the dog owner agrees that the dog may be seen on such recordings and that the pictures/videos may be used for the purposes mentioned.

If the owner does not wish to be published, this must be communicated in writing or by e-mail before the start of the stay. This wish will of course be respected. There will be no compensation for the use of the images and videos.

Terms of Payment

For holiday stays and irregular day care, payment must be made in advance.

The price for all arrangements is to be paid 10 days after invoicing (monthly). The reminder fee is CHF 10.00.

All invoices are payable by paying-in slip, card payment, Twint or cash on site.

Liability in Case of Damage

We are only liable to the client or third parties for damages
caused by us during the execution of the order due to a clear
breach of duty of care. This is exclusively within the
scope of the liability insurance we have taken out. If
we have not been sufficiently instructed by the client,
we fully reject any resulting liability claims by the
client or third parties.

Dog owners must have liability insurance that also guarantees full coverage for third-party care.

The animal owner undertakes to have provided all data
specified in the contract/registration truthfully. He also undertakes
to inform us about any bad habits of his animal, such as destructiveness,
high aggressiveness or illnesses. Should this not have
been done, the owner is liable for damages caused by his animal.

We reserve the right to refuse aggressive or very anxious dogs
or to care for them separately at an additional cost.

In the event of a dog's death and fault on the part of the daycare, the daycare will reimburse a maximum of CHF 1,000.00 for a pedigree dog with papers, and a maximum of CHF 300.00 for all other dogs, scaled according to the age of the deceased dog.

Even with careful supervision, it can happen that an
animal escapes. Should the animal not be found again despite intensive
efforts, the animal owner has no claim for compensation.

In the event of verifiable suspicion of animal cruelty, we reserve the
right to initiate appropriate measures and investigations and, if the
suspicion is confirmed, not to return the animal to the owner.

Payment experiences

We would like to inform you that payment experiences, especially
regarding undisputed and overdue
receivables, as well as debt collection information and address data,
will be transmitted to CRIF AG in Zurich for legitimate use as a credit agency. CRIF will use the data to verify your identity and creditworthiness and will disclose it to authorized third parties.

Payment experiences may be analyzed by CRIF using mathematical-statistical calculation methods for automated decision-making, particularly for assessing a person's creditworthiness. Further information can be found at: www.mycrifdata.ch/#/dsg
