Internship (animal care)
The Villa Bunterhund in Schwarzenberg offers professional day and holiday places for dogs in groups. We also run a dog salon and a dog boutique with all kinds of food and accessories.
As of August 2023 or by arrangement, we are offering a 1-year internship in animal care for a committed young person who wants to become an animal caretaker. The practical experience gained with us is of great help in finding an apprenticeship in this field.
What's waiting for you:
- Supervision, care, animation and feeding of day and pension dogs
- Behavior observation of the dog group
- Cleaning of the facility, boxes and dog rooms
- Various handicrafts
- Help in the dog salon and the dog boutique
What you bring:
- Completed school education (9 years)
- Interest & passion for dogs and their needs
- Desire to train as an animal keeper after completing an internship
- Willingness to work in a group of up to 20 dogs
- Willingness to help and learn
- Physical & mental resilience
